{ Free Cut Friday and Technique Tuesday December Sneak Peek }

Hello and happy Friday! I have several things to share with you today. Let’s start with a free file.

Be merry by Daniela Dobson

I started creating snowflakes in my Silhouette Studio. They are really easy to make once you figure it out. You can get very creative with them. I would love to share a video on how I make them if anyone is interested. This one I created just the other day. If you like it you can download the file on the Scrap Review blog or right here…see below.

I used Be Jolly stamp set from Technique Tuesday for the tree and Jingle All The Way by Ali Edwards for the sentiment.

The snowflake is cut from iCraft sheet from Therm O Web and to see how I did that I have a little tutorial HERE. iCraft sheet has adhesive on both sides so once I removed the top I added glitter. I left the bottom liner in place so it doesn’t stick. I adhered the snowflake to the tree with 3D Foam Squares.

I use speed 1 on the snowflakes and I had no problems. Some of the designs are intricate, but worth the wait.

***These Silhouette Studio files are created by me, and are for personal use only. If you use my designs, please give proper credit and link back to my blog and/or original file.***

Enjoy your free files. I hope you can use them. I see people downloading my files all the time. Let me know if you use them so I can see.

{ Scrapbook Circle - Lifting you }

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were in Arizona visiting family and just got back yesterday. It’s been busy around here with unpacking, doing laundry, catching up on emails and projects.

Here is a layout I created for a feature we have on Scrapbook Circle blog – Lifting you. I had an honor of lifting Orange Gearle’s layout. I used our November kit – Harvest Moon.

Would you like to be considered for the Lifting You feature here at Scrapbook Circle? Just upload your work using Scrapbook Circle kits to the Facebook page and you could be our next lift!

Have you seen our December kit - All is Bright? It is beautiful. The kit includes lots of fun goodies from Crate Paper, American Crafts, Studio Calico, My Mind’s Eye, Pink Paislee, Elle’s Studio and more.

I have a huge giveaway coming soon!!!

I added a little Jillibean Hexagon sticker, ZVA Creative Crystal flourish, Brown Sugar Devine Twine and a flower to the die cut.

The sentiment is from Stay The Course Technique Tuesday stamp set. I stamped it on Teresa Collins patterned paper and adhered it using 3D Foam Squares from Therm O Web.

{ One item wonder: Flair and sketch challenge }

The Scrapbook Circle November kit features an exclusive set of flair buttons and here is how I used one of mine.

I created a pinwheel and added a flair button to the center.

We also have a sketch challenge every month and here is my take on it.

I hope you share your take on our sketch and challenge on our Facebook page.
Have a great Monday.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Happy Fall }

Hi and welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge.
Our next challenge starts today, November 15, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, November 21, at 10 PM.

Create a new card using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between November 15 - 21. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my project.

Happy fall by Daniela Dobson

I stamped the background with Herringbone stamp. Picture This frame, that I cut out,  is backed with a Lily Bee Index card that came in my Scrapbook Circle November kit.

Scallop Tag Flag has a matching die. I added some American Crafts letter stickers and  machine stitched them on the bottom.

I added die cut leaves to the corners. Love those leaves. I stamped and cut the Striped Banner and tucked it under the leaves.

I hope you get a chance to play in this challenge.
