{ New stamps at Technique Tuesday }

I just wanted to share a couple of cards I made for Technique Tuesday. These were created for their booth at CHA that is going on right now.

For this card I used the new set called All Aboard.  It comes with six images and eight sentiments/words including the one I used here. I fell in love with the beautiful sailing ship image. The image is stamped on new Ali Edwards stamp called This Life. I made the flower from sewing pattern paper and used a Technique Tile (chipboard) Button for the center. It's a circle shape and I punched two little holes in the center and added twine.

For this card I used a new stamp set called Pulling For You. The set comes with this main image and three sentiments. I stamped the image on cardstock and used this pretty Crate Paper as my background. The sentiment is stamped on a sticker that I adhered to the card with foam adhesive. The little scalloped edge is stamped cardstock that was left over from another project. I used  a leaf branch from Two Steppin' In The Garden.

The new products will start shipping to retailers mid-February and be available on the Technique Tuesday site soon after.  We are sharing sneak peeks in our Splitcoast Stampers forum and on our Facebook fan page.

All of the new images are available NOW at Impression Obsession!

This is day three for me and my last day of sneak peeks. Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments. I am so happy you like the new stamps and my creations.

To make the card I stamped Round Floral background stamp as my card base. I stamped Sweet Plaid Border on cardstock and cut it out. It looks like ribbon to me so I used as ribbon. I pleated it and stitched in place with DMC floss. I did adhere it in spots to hold in place and then I poked holes with my needle so it's easier to sew.
The beautiful flowers came from Ornate Floral CAC...you can see it as a full background on the card I did yesterday.  I cut them out, inked the edges and adhered on top of each other with foam tape. The little page pebble is from Making Memories.
Those All Occasion sentiments are perfect to have...there is a little bit of everything there.

To make the card I stamped the Budding Branch right over the stamped Damask background. I colored the branch with Prismacolor pencils. The little bird from My Little Chickadees is stamped on patterned paper and cut out. I added glue to the body and sprinkled glitter over the top.

That is all for me this week. Other DT members will have more cards to show tomorrow.
Be sure to check the Impression Obsession blog  for all the info.

This is day two for me. Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments yesterday.

To make this card I stamped the background with Cover-a-Card Canvas. I used my sewing machine to sew the background, border and the Dotty Heart. I stamped the Dotty Heart on cardstock and cut it out and I added a little flower with a jewel.

How about this fun Ornate Floral background. I love it. To make the card I stamped my card base with the stamp. I added strips of punched paper at the top, ribbon and this new adorable Dot Tag Small. I am in love with all these tags and there are several to choose from. I stamp the tag on cardstock, cut it out and punch a hole at the top. This tag has a little scalloped border on the bottom. I stamped the tag, lightly, on patterned paper and cut out the bottom and adhered it to this tag.

That is all for today...I will have two more cards on Thursday.
Be sure to check the Impression Obsession blog daily for all the info.

To make the card I stamped the Lg Solid Dot tag on cardstock and cut it out. I stamped Love Score randomly around the edges. Daffodil Bouquet is stamped, colored with watercolor pencils and cut out. I attached the Daffodils to the tag with a little clip from Making Memories. The sentiment is stamped on left over cardstock that was stamped with my all time favorite Cover-a-Card Wood Grain CC34.

To make the card I stamped the Bird Balloon on die cut cardstock. I left the image plain and I stamped the image again on patterned paper and cut out the clouds. I tucked the little bird pin at the top with the sentiment.

To make the card I sprayed Cover-a-Card Canvas with Glimmer Mist and stamped the doily. The Swirl Lower letters are stamped on cardstock and cut out. I sprayed the butterflies - Silhouette 15 D5565 with Glimmer Mist and cut them out.

That is all for today...I will have more on Wednesday and Thursday.

{ Creative Scrappers Sketch #140 }

Here is my creation for Sketch #140 at Creative Scrappers where I am a Guest Designer this week. Check out the blog for designers layouts...it is so fun to see what everyone created with the same sketch.

I am using some fun papers and stickers from October Afternoon that I ordered and received several months ago, but just now got to use it. I used twine for my background and  tied off squares from the sketch. I added my photos over the top.

I embossed some butterflies on vellum with Cuttlebug embossing folder that I cut out. The pretty brow butterflies over the top are by Making Memories. I am in love with the glitter borders by KI Memories.

I redesigned my blog today. Do you like it? I mailed off my last CHA package on Thursday and had nothing to do for a bit. The show starts this week and there are so many new products that need to be introduced.

Prima Marketing is continuing with sneak peeks on their blog.

Impression Obsession designers start showing their creations with the new stamps January 24. Read the details HERE.

Technique Tuesday sneaks have started on their Facebook page. Make sure you become a fan/like the page so you can see all the new things that are coming out.

{ Technique Tuesday Blog Hop }

Welcome to the first-ever Technique Tuesday blog hop!

I’m a Stamping Tech for Technique Tuesday.

Today, the Technique Tuesday Stamping Techs and some of our best friends are joining together to hold this first-ever blog hop to share one of our favorite projects made with Technique Tuesday’s stamps.

The hop begins on Teri’s blog.  Follow the links after that. If you get lost go back to the start - Teri .

With every comment you leave on the blog path, you’ll be entered to win a Pocket Full of Posies stamp set from Technique Tuesday.
Teri will pick one person at random from all the comments made by midnight Eastern time on 1/24 to win the stamp set. So the more comments you make, the better chance you have to win.

Be sure to check Teri’s blog on 1/25 to see if you are the lucky winner.

Here is my card.

 I used Flea Market Finds stamp set for my borders. I used the round shape stamp and stamped on the edge of the paper to create the scalloped border. The butterfly trail is from the same stamp set.
I used Two Steppin' In the Garden for my flower. I cut the flower out and cut between some of the petals for some dimension.
 The sentiment is stamped with the fonts from Start Me Up Addison stamp set.
The Technique Tuesday chipboard butterfly is from Fundamentals of Flowers that I embossed with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I added little ink over the top to make the dots stand out.

The next stop (your last) is ---->>>>> TERI

Thanks for joining our hop today!

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - Purple }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. We have challenges every other week - DETAILS HERE - if you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Purple challenge!!! I love purple and I don't use it often enough. I am using all NEW Images that will be released at CHA on January 29.

My background is stamped with New Cover-a-card Damask CC081. I sprayed the stamp with Shimmerz spray in Grape Escape and stamped on the card. I sprayed the white crepe paper with the same spray and made the little ruffle on the bottom and the rose. I stamped the New Dot Tag Small E8511 on cardstock and cut it out. The leaves for the rose came from the same tag stamp that was a bit too dark the first time so I stamped it again to get the desired shade of purple. The embossed cardstock is Core'dinations that I sanded to reveal the purple core. The sentiment is from New All Occasion I CL306 stamp set.

I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designers' blogs for inspiration!

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - All You Need Is Love }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. We have challenges every other week - DETAILS HERE - if you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

The challenge is about hearts, Valentines and love. Some of the DT members will be using NEW Images that will be released at CHA on January 29.

I started my card with Making Memories patterned paper and cardstock that I stamped with Cover-a-Card Large Dots CC007. I sprayed the stamp with Shimmerz Spritz. It gives you that wet/painted look that I love.  I used EK Success border punch for the right edge.
I stamped the NEW Wavy Line Heart F8625 on cardstock and cut it out. Then, I stamped NEW Love Score D8603 to fill it in.

The flower is cut from NEW Cover-a-card background stamp CC077 and adorned with The Paper Studio brad. The "love" sentiment is from NEW Happy Hearts CL314 stamp set
I have a ton of little scraps left over from stamped backgrounds and unused images that I use for my stamped sentiments. As seen here, "love" is stamped on cardstock that was stamped with Love Score D8603.

I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designers' blogs for inspiration!
