{ NEW Fall-Winter stamps from Impression Obsession #3 }

This card features another fun background Cover-a-Card Swirls & Stars (CC054). I heat embossed the background with white embossing powder. I stamped the Sm. Tree Trio (E8477) on Journaling I (WP165) bracket. I used Pearl Ex watercolors to color the image.The sentiment is from Swirl Trees (CL196).

I think this was the very first card I created with the new stamps, at the beginning of July. The new Simple Gift (F8458) stamp is colored with watercolor pencils. The background is our Cover-a-card Medallion (CC032), heat embossed. The sentiment, Christmas Sentiments (CL44), is stamped on a left over strip that was stamped with Cover-a-card Roses (CC043).

I hope you enjoyed my creations. Check out the Impression Obsession blog for more links. Let me know if you have any questions. I will let you know when these stamps are available in the store.

{ NEW Fall-Winter stamps from Impression Obsession #2 }

Make sure you check out the Impression Obsession blog for daily links to cards with the new stamps.

I stamped the Snowy Sapling (F8479) on cardstock and the cut the bracket shape with my Cricut. I layered that over Cover-a-card Music (CC029) stamped background. I can make the bracket shape any size with my SCAL software. I sprayed the background, lightly, with Glimmer Mist. The image is colored with Prismacolor.
I added a pin and a Joy (A5461) sentiment to the top.

This one was fun to color. Gary Robertson Apples (H1782). The background is stamped with Cover-a-card Lines (CC060). I just added some hemp cord to complete the card. Pretty simple.

I remembered that the bicycle set, Riding Pretty (CL255)  had a tree and I wanted to use it with the new stamps. The background is stamped with new Cover-a-Card Circles (CC055) and I added the Newsprint (CC068) stamped border. I stamped the flower with the Newsprint stamp, too.
I added Flower Soft to the tree and red glitter for the ornaments.

{ NEW Fall-Winter stamps from Impression Obsession }

We started debuting the new stamps from Impression Obsession. Start your day with the Impression Obsession Blog and Shirley will have links to all the designers for the day.

 It was a little hard making a winter card in a middle of this heat, but fun. I love this little snowman...Hanging the Garland (E8465). I colored him with Prismacolor pencils. I stamped the bag with a snowflake from Winter Wonderland stamp set (CL244) and added a sentiment from Fall Borders (CL136). I had a small piece of stamped Wood Grain (CC034) and I used that, too. Nothing to waste.
I used Glimmer Mist for the crepe paper and the Wood Grain stamp.

This card features my NEW favorite background (in addition to my wood grain and Lg. dots) ---Cover-a-Card Splatter (CC059). Can you see the splatter??? I cut out the Starlight (C8482) and colored it with watercolor paints. The sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments (CL44).

One last one for today. How about that cool NEW Cover-a-Card Newsprint (CC068)? I stamped the cardstock with Newsprint. then added the Swirling Star (F8483) with VersaMark. I heat embossed the star with clear embossing powder. Last step was to spray the background with Scarlet Glimmer Mist.
The sentiment is from Holiday Borders (CL137).

I hope you enjoyed my creations with the NEW Impression Obsession stamps. I will be back on Wednesday with more cards.

{ Decorative pillow - New Prima }

I can finally share one of my little projects with new Prima products.  Donna Downey Screen-printed Canvas and iron-on (butterfly), flowers, butterflies and lace. The canvas is awesome!!! You can paint it, stamp it, spray glimmer mist on it or sew it like I did here.

The orange butterfly is an iron-on, my first time using one and it was so easy. The iron-ons are soft and fuzzy and so easy to apply. I added a flower and some butterflies.

I added lace to the front and made a little handle for hanging.

Make sure you check out the blog for other sneaks and beautiful projects from out design team.

{ Impression Obsession giveaway }

I really wanted to do a tutorial for this card, but my desk is a mess (see photo below) and I didn't have enough time. Plus, I have never done a video tutorial, and that would have been a total disaster. I need to plan this better.
I was taking a little break so I made this card for 2S4Y # 56.  A box of goodies arrived from Impression Obsession . The cards for CHA with the NEW stamps will be shown on Design Team blogs starting July 26.

I stamped the background with Cover-a-Card Distressed Corduroy (CC047), first horizontal then vertical. I clear embossed Cover-a-Card Large (CC007) on top of that and sprayed the card with blue Shimmerz spray. I added left over strip of crepe paper streamer to a pink strip of patterned paper that I stitched to the card.
I stamped Butterfly Scene (G1753) on cardstock, cut it out and sprayed lightly with yellow Glimmer Mist. I added a crochet flower that my mom made.

I am giving away this Cover-a-Card Large Dots (CC007) cling-backed background stamp. The stamp is 5.75 x 5.75 inches. Leave me a comment and let me know if you use stamps on your projects. I will pick a winner at the end of the week.

 Oh, yes, photo of the only clear space:
