{ Halloween Pillow Box Door Hanger }

Honestly, Halloween is not my favorite I just love the colors. This Die Cuts With A View patterned paper was just calling my name. Well, the new Glitter Halloween stack is out (go to new products and the Halloween stack is on the bottom and you can get a closer look of all the papers). The pillow box door hanger pattern I got at Victorine Originals. It's a PDF file and you just download the pattern and print it on the back of your patterned paper. You can fill it out with goodies for your kids and hang it on their door Free Smiley Face Courtesy of www.FreeSmileys.org

Other news: I have been shopping for baby boy clothes, so much fun. If you know of any cute on line stores let me know.

{ Things for baby }

I altered this little notebook the other night. I needed something cute for notes. I have all these ideas and things I need to get for the baby and now it will be in one place. The front is decorated with Basic Grey patterned paper, Oh Baby Girl collection. I know, it's not Oh Baby Boy, but this is all I had and it's cute. I think that the blue one is from Romani collection. I have more than I though "boy things". Ribbon is American crafts, Creative Imaginations chipboard tag. Plain index tabs I had lying around and I used my new Target wood stamps to stamp on the tabs. I do have another set to give away again
OK, I have to ge make dinner now.

{ Eskimo kisses for SC142 sketch }

Eskimo kisses is the name of this adorable stamp from Impression-Obsession. The cool thing about their stamps is that you have a choice of mounted, unmounted with NO cushion, unmounted with repositionable cushion, and unmounted with permanent adhesive cushion. You get to pick.
I colored my snowmen with Prismacolor pencils. I used Christmas Borders and Love Is All Around for the little sentiment. Background paper is DCWV, little tag is Sizzix die cut, Offray ribbon.
I used SC142 from Splitcoaststampers.

{ Blog candy }

***I am making this post "sticky" so it will stay on top until Sunday. Please read below for any new posts. Thanks.*** It's blog candy time!!! This time I am giving away some "blue" baby/boy goodies just because I am having a boy. I had to add the flowers because they matched perfectly with the paper and ribbon. You can always fit the flowers somewhere on a card. I am on a lookout for boy paper. Leave a comment on this post and tell me what boy papers I need to check out or your favorite boy color combinations. I will randomly draw a winner Sunday night, September 23, at 8:00 pm CST. Frances Meyer patterned paper, Offray ribbon, Hamton Art clear stamps from Michaels and two acrylic blocks, Prima flowers.

{ Target goodies }

I wanted to share with you little goodies I got at Target dollar spot yesterday. I haven't been in a while, and the bins were all picked through. I really like the ribbon and the little stamps. I do have a corner rounder, but it makes big round corners and this one is much smaller.
I have something to give away again. Oh, just because, and I think it's baby/boy related. Be on a lookout.

I colored the butterflies with Prismacolor pencils to match my patterned paper. The sentiment stamp is from World Circles clear stamp set. I used my Sizzix circle die cut and stamped the sentiment. I love butterflies. Here is SCS sketch I used.

{ Beate's weekend sketch challenge # 18 }

Beate has these wonderful sketches every week, I just can't keep up. I finally got to play. I love this sketch. I am using my new Impression-Obsession Stamp set I got this week. Happiness, that's where the little butterfly came from. Other stamps from Impression Obsession, Spring Blooms and Circle Greetings. Patterned paper is from Autumn Leaves. I used a large circle scalloped punch from Marvy Uchida. I colored my butterfly with SU markers and added couple of pink jewels to the wings. The little butterfly trail comes in the set, as well, and you can bend it to make swirls. Offray ribbon.

{ Creative Imaginations }

Design Team sponsor this month at Create My Keepsake is Creative Imaginations. I got to play with Samantha Walker Day by Day collection and Bare Elements wood blocks. I made a desk calendar. I used Sizzix 1.5" square die to cut all the squares and Mod Podge to adhere everything to the blocks. This was a fast project that required a little planning for the squares. I will be using this little calendar on my desk.
There is a Creative Imaginations contest going on that you can read about here.
We will be chatting live with Christine Adolph on September 6th at 8:00 p.m. CST in our chat room and you are invited to join us! For complete chat event details just click here.

{ SCS sketch challenge 139 }

Well, I have been cleaning my room for the past several days...and in the middle of it all I had to stamp. This paper set was still in the wrapper, yes, if you can believe that. I am using it for the first time. Sketch is from Splitcoaststampers SC139. All the stamps are from Impression-Obsession. Paper is Really Rust, Close to Cocoa, and Very Vanilla. I used my scalloped scissors I got at Michaels the other day. I just love these colors. I want to make another card tonight, but I just don't want to mess up my clean space.

{ Tweet Summertime }

That's the name of the stamp. It's one of the birdhouses I got from Impression-Obsession. I wanted it to look more like a fall card. I think I will be ordering more. They are so fun to color. I finally got to use my Prismacolor colored pencils. I got them several months ago at JoAnn for a great price. I think they were on sale or I got to use the coupon...something good. I didn't have a good sharpener until the other day. I love them.
I used Very Vanilla cardstock, DCWV patterned paper, Keller's Creations ribbon, Ranger ink around the edges.
